In Corporate America, everyone’s keeping a big secret.

What’s the secret?

Everything’s made up but the points DO matter.

The Workfarce is here to help you get those points.

From Fortune 500 CEOs to the endless sea of white tech bros, we’re all playing pretend. We’re walking around in (pant)suits, carrying empty briefcases, using made up buzzwords just because “we’ve always done it this way.”

It’s easy to think businesspeople are smarter, more capable, and know something you don’t, but I’m here to tell you that’s simply not true. You are just as smart, capable, and I promise — you can figure everything else out.

It’s time we had an open conversation about how to make the world of work work for you.

That’s why I started The Workfarce, a newsletter and online space for students, freelancers, and 9-to-5ers looking for thoughts, advice, and humor on how to create a better career, no matter what that means to you. Think of it as a warm blanket of words that will keep you cozy as you stress out about work. Or life. Or a little bit of both. Either way, it’s here to help!

Remember that wall from before? My goal with The Workfarce is to tear it down brick-by-brick, welcome everyone in, and help you find your place, no matter who you are or where you’re from (cue the Backstreet Boys).

Sounds great, but who the hell are you?

I probably should’ve started here. I’m Billy Frazier and I live in St. Louis. I’m a thirtysomething millennial. I like making weird sounds with my mouth next to four guys who can sing. I like finding gluten-free blueberry cake donuts that aren’t gross. I like brainstorming bad business ideas with good friends, coffee chats with strangers, weekly movie nights, reading and writing (almost) every day, fumbling my way through a new city with my wife, and sharing my favorite books, movies, shows, cartoons, video games, podcasts, Twitter threads, snacks, or cocktails I can get my grubby little hands on.

That’s cool, but what do you
